As the endless winter seems to be finally giving way to some fair weather, the UK's first hydrogen ferry, the
Hydrogenesis, started to operate in Bristol by
Bristol Hydrogen Boats on the 20th April, 2013.
The
award winning Hydrogenesis, powered by LMC permanent magnet motors will operate throughout the summer season in a demonstration project defined to open the doors to the emerging zero-emission hydrogen economy. The launch and operation of the Hydrogenesis is an historic event adding to Bristol and the UK's rich industrial heritage.
